Mason graduated from the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication. He received degrees in Journalism and Cinema Studies. While at the UO he worked at the campus radio station as a producer, DJ and News Director. In and out of class he found a love for audio production and storytelling. Now he is using those skills and that passion as a reporter at the Public News Service. He works and lives in Portland, Oregon.
